Chondola at Anakeesta
Enjoy a 12 minute chairlift ride to the summit of Anakeesta Mountain on the Chondola at Anakeesta! This unique fixed-grip transportation is the first of its kind to be built in the United States and features 104 quad chairs and eight 6-person gondola cabins. This means that guests can choose from the open air 4-person chairs with safety bars or from the enclosed gondola cabins. Once you board the Chondola, you will soar above Gatlinburg and travel 600 feet to the top of the mountain. After reaching the summit, enter the whimsical Firefly Village and explore 70 acres of adventure, rides, shopping and unique dining experiences! The Chondola opens at 10 AM daily and is located in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg at 576 Parkway. There is plenty of on-site paid parking that allows guests to conveniently access the Chondola to Anakeesta Mountain and Firefly Village. Closing times vary with the season so be sure to call for the current closing times.
Gatlinburg Sky Lift
Experience breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains on the Gatlinburg Sky Lift! This chairlift in Gatlinburg takes guests 1,800 feet high to the top of Crockett Mountain where you can enjoy some of the best views in town. The original attraction was damaged in the wildfires that swept through the area in late 2016, but the Gatlinburg Sky Lift is back and better than ever! The new and improved ride now features triple chairs rather than the previous double chairs which allows for extra comfort and capacity. Hop aboard and enjoy the smooth glide to the peak of Crockett Mountain, then circle around for the downhill ride where you can see spectacular views of the lush forests and majestic mountains! Be sure to come back in the evening for a night ride as you look down upon the dazzling lights of downtown Gatlinburg! The Gatlinburg Sky Lift is open daily at 9 AM with various closing hours throughout each season.
